I found a new happy place this summer: Port de Pollença, Mallorca.

From the moment we got there I fell in love with the rustic beaches framed by fragrant pine trees and waves that gently reached the shore, strolled along the beautiful promenade soaking up the sunrises and sunsets, enjoyed local delicacies so delicious that there was always room for more, and truly relaxed…

It made me realise how a little escapism from time to time can do a whole world of good, even if it is from the comfort of your sofa. Since I returned from my new ‘happy place’, I have started following more and more travel bloggers on Blog Lovin’  for an imaginary break to the world’s most exotic, exciting and vibrant destinations.

Here are some of my recommendations:

  1. Blog Lovin’ – The Edit

http://blog.bloglovin.com/blog/?category=Travel

Not technically a travel blog, but I had to include it here because it’s a fantastic roundup of all the best bits. It usually features a mix of destination articles, travel guidance, packing advice and aspirational holiday adventures, but the content is updated regularly so it’s always worth a read.

What’s even better, my friends over at Positive Health Wellness have provided 8 reasons why travelling is good for your mind, body and soul. It’s worth a read.

Happy travels 🙂
